Co-sponsored by BusinessWeek and the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA®) program is the premier international competition honoring design excellence in products, ecodesign, interaction design, packaging, strategy, research and concepts. More than 1500 entries came from designers, students and companies worldwide. For its innovative design, Ridge Runner was presented with one of only 35 Gold Awards in the 2008 competition.

Tools of the Trade Magazine presents their Editors' Choice Awards annually for innovative leadership in construction tools and accessories. This year's Editors' Choice Award winners were companies that developed jobsite solutions that go beyond traditional tools, bringing new technologies and capabilities into play. Ridge Runner was one of only 13 prestigious winners.
