I have been a carpenter and general contractor for over 20 years and have always been the person working at the peak while setting trusses. On a cold February day in 2006 while at the peak setting trusses, I realized I no longer felt safe. It became my goal to create a safety device to keep the workers on the truss or peak safe.

I began spending my nights and weekends in my shop developing my idea of the Ridge Runner. My primary focus was to create a safety tool but as my ideas developed, it became evident that the Ridge Runner was not only a safety tool but also a tool that increases the speed and efficiency of truss setting. The Ridge Runner allows workers to safely work hands-free anywhere on the truss as long as the trusses are properly braced.

I have chosen the best materials to aid in worker safety and comfort while working on the truss or at the peak. We hope you will find the Ridge Runner to be as SAFE, COMFORTABLE and as EFFICIENT as we have.
